Since it’s a couple of days after Thanksgiving I have decided to reflect on what I’m Thankful for 2017.
(This Post was supposed to go out the Friday after Thanksgiving but I was so wrapped up in Holiday festivities that I didn’t have it finished in time. Plus it was my Birthday weekend so I’m sending this out today. Better late than never right?!)
Happy Friday Friends, friends of friends, people in front of the screen, phone, tablet who I am so grateful for because you visit my blog and hopefully find something of interest and tasty to create! Today I am full of so much gratitude for you and so much else in my life!
When I was little my Dad used to end everyday with a gratitude list. He would push aside all the negative and take a moment to go over all the good that he DID have.
I have always remembered that and think it is such a great thing to do on a daily basis. So today I’m taking the time to write my gratitude list. I would love it if you would leave a comment telling me something you are thankful for this year.
My first annual What I’m Thankful For 2017
1. My Friends and Family
I’m thankful for all the love and support that my friends and family have given me throughout this year.
2. My Pets (Even though I consider them part of the family)
I’m thankful to walk down the stairs every morning and be greeted by my dogs like they haven’t seen me in ages. I’m also thankful for my other pets too, but they don’t greet me like the dogs do.
3. My Passion…Golf
I’m thankful to be a member of one of the nicest golf courses in Connecticut and to be able to golf when I want either by myself, with friends, or with family. Being able to golf almost everyday really has helped my grow as a golfer and fine tune my skills. I’m also thankful for the new equipment that I got this year, having high quality clubs has been a tremendous aid in helping me better my skills. And, you can never forget about the Shankopotomous
4. My Second Passion…Cooking
I’m thankful to be able to cook for myself and others everyday and be fortunate enough to have nice appliances to do so with. I was lucky enough to get a new microwave (mine was over 13 years old) and a brand new chef knife. My dad is starting to remodel the kitchen so the new microwave is the first of more to come.
Last but certainly not least, my blog. I’m super thankful for all the love, support, and positive encouragement I have gotten and continue to get from all of you in my short time blogging so far. I also have learned so much from the blog and blogging community. I love to share my experiences, stories, and yummy creations as well as make new friends.
