Back to the Slime
Normally I am creating recipes that appeal mainly to the vision, smell and taste senses. Today it’s all about the other two. Fluffy slime is a squishy delight to the touch and YES, it makes farting noises pleasing the immature ears in all of us. Best Part…..
Making mountains of shaving cream
This is an activity you will truly enjoy making with the kids (or for yourself, im not judging) So stock up on the Barbosol and keep this activity on hand for a rainy day. Whether you have your own children, are looking to keep the rugrats you babysit entertained, or have younger siblings, this is something everyone will enjoy!
What you will need:
Food Coloring, if desired
- 4 ounces Elmer's washable glue
- food coloring, desired amount
- 3 to 4 cups Foam shaving cream
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon saline solution
- baby oil
- Add glue and food coloring to a bowl and stir. Add in shaving cream, baking soda, and saline. Mix and knead the mixture until it turns into slime.
- Use a small amount of baby oil at the end to prevent sticking.
Stir your pizzaz of choice in with the glue and food coloring. Then add the shaving cream and rest of the ingredients. You can fold it in at the end but I find it easier to do it at the beginning.
Even my sisters gymnastics coach enjoyed receiving a batch of Fluffy Slime. She bedazzled it by adding beads. So feel free to add Beads, glitter, gems, or anything else you can dream up.
Have you made slime before?
