With short intervals that have you changing speed often, you’ll breeze through this 40 minute treadmill workout.
I roll out of bed and get my treadmill workout on as fast as humanly possible. This way I’m up and at it before my body knows what hits it. By the time Im fully awake I’m just about done. If I wait untill later in the day, it’s just not going to happen.
This gorilla tactic works great for me. If you’re the kind of person that’s not hungry right away and can exercise before your first meal, I highly suggest giving it a try. But whether you are a morning, mid-day, or late night exerciser this simple 40 minute treadmill workout will make the time fly by.
40 Minute Treadmill Workout
I might not be hungry before I do my treadmill workout, but without fail an hour or so after, my tummy is a grumbling.
Lucky for me I had a crustless spinach quiche waiting for me. I made one to bring to my Great grandmother after a knee surgery and was smart enough to double things up and make one for myself as well. Good planning on my part. On busy days, such as today, having something ready to eat in the fridge when hunger strikes is like a little gift to myself
This quiche is a rock star! 186 calories for 1/4 of the entire 9 inch pie and a whopping 23 grams of protein! Perfect post workout.
After breakfast and heading out to work, I’m already looking forward to my next meal. So as soon as I have a good breaking point, I grab out a quick-lunch of these balls.
I quickly devour 8 of these everything seasoning coated balls. I made them the day before as a recipe testing project and wanted to see how they would taste after sitting a day. When I test recipes I find it supper important to not just see how something is right away out of the oven, but also 1-2 days later after chilling in the fridge. This way I can let you know with confidence the shelf life of any of my recipes.
Be on the lookout for the recipe for these bad boys because they pass the Looney for Food taste test both hot of the press and cold 2 days later!
Following lunch is more work, work, work, right up until dinner! Like breakfast I did some strategic planning earlier in the week so I would have leftover Turmeric Chicken. I put it to use in quesadillas.
With the chicken already cooked this took all of 10 minutes to throw together. All I did was:
- Sauté some mini peppers in a skillet until charred.
- Add in bite size pieces of pre-cooked turmeric chicken to reheat.
- load everything into corn tortillas along with massive amounts of cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the oven at 400 degrees 8-10 minutes.
After dinner I’m off again. This time for some fun on the golf course.
This is what happens when I bring my sister along.
After golfing we hit up a local ice cream shop for some soft serve. I think Izzie enjoys it just as much as my sister.
