You get what you pay for in life and bed sheets are no different. Thread count truly makes a difference!
Before I get to the eats I have a completely unrelated food revelation I just have to share. Were moving out of the kitchen momentarily and into the bedroom. In the words of Marvin Gay, “lets get it on”
That is right I’m inviting you to jump into bed with me to talk bed Sheets.
I’ve never put much thought into my bed sheets. I always buy the cheapest ones I can find, but on a recent Target.com shopping extravaganza I decided to spring for a nicer, higher thread count set. I got this 500 thread count satin-stitch Damask Sheet Set by Fieldcrest.
Holy Cow I had no idea what a difference this would make! Sliding into bed with these bed sheets is heaven. Plus I love the color and subtle strips. There is no going back for me now. 500 thread count or more for this Looney from now on.
Ok, back to the kitchen.
A super busy morning leads to not eating my first meal until 1pm! Luckily my Avocado Chickpea Salad takes all of 5 minutes to make. I throw the 6 ingredients in a bowl, smash away and plop it on an everything bagel.
I added spinach and a fresh garden tomato for a super filling late brunch.
Since breakfast ran into lunch, my lunch ran into dinner. But it was on heck of a dinner at a local Japanese restaurant.
I started with a seared ahi tuna appetizer which I didn’t get a picture of followed by these rolls! They were huge, filling, and amazing. One was a spicy shrimp and crab roll and the other the house special.
This was the shrimp and crab roll! So good.
I can never decide, stuff the whole thing in my mouth in one byte or try for two without it falling apart. Sushi Problems ….
I made Sprint 2 the Tables Avocado cookies and they did not disappoint!
Go check her recipe out and just try it! I promise they are amazing and you would never know they have avocado in them.
Sushi, one bit or two?
What bed sheet thread count do you generally get?
Have you tried avocado in sweets?
